Multi Cavity Tooling and Automation
As Fastmount’s business has grown, NTD has upgraded tooling to boost capacity and reduce part costs. We’ve designed and built multi-cavity tools with hot dropper systems, enabling high-speed production of millions of parts annually.
To support this increased output, we also introduced automation. Previously, parts were manually weigh-counted and bagged in batches of 100. NTD has since designed and commissioned two automatic bagging machines that sort, count and label parts—significantly reducing labour time and costs.
