ZIP is a NZ-based company who works on the monitoring, control and eradication of pests from large areas of NZ national parks.
AI Camera System
An important part of ZIP’s work is developing innovative technical products to identify, track, and control pests. NTD collaborates closely with ZIP’s engineering team to turn their designs into reality.
One such project—the AI camera system—involved three complex injection mould tools with in-moulded antenna inserts. After moulding, brass threaded inserts are added using an automated CNC heat staking machine.
NTD’s fully in-house service—from design and tooling to moulding and assembly—is a major advantage for ZIP and other customers alike.
