NTD has been designing products, manufacturing mould tools and moulding the entire range of Railblaza products for nearly 20 years.
Their latest innovation, the Railblaza Gear Hub, offers a clever flat-pack storage solution for kayakers and fishermen. Its compact design reduces shipping costs, while four integrated rod holders double as structural supports for added rigidity.
The project involved three mould tools—including one weighing 2000kg—and parts are moulded using 100% NZ-sourced recycled material on 380 and 320-ton machines with robotic part removal.
